The short version
We collect the minimum personal data needed to sell you our plugin and provide support. We don't sell it. We don't share it with third parties for advertising. You can ask us to delete everything at any time and we will.
Who "we" are
"We" / "us" / "WholesaleWP" refers to the operator of this website and seller of the WholesaleWP plugin. For data-protection purposes we are the controller of any personal data you provide.
What data we collect
We collect personal data in four ways:
- When you buy WholesaleWP. Your name, email address, billing address, and (via Stripe) the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles payment processing.
- When you sign up for our demo or newsletter. Just your email address.
- When you contact support. Whatever you put in the email — typically your name, email, and a description of your issue, sometimes screenshots or store information.
- When you visit this website. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited, referrer) for security and analytics.
Why we use it
- To deliver the plugin and your licence key
- To respond to support requests and onboard you
- To send you product updates, security notices, and (if you opted in) marketing email
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the business:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Flodesk — email marketing and demo signups
- Our hosting provider — to run the website
- Our analytics provider — privacy-focused, anonymised page-view data
Each of these has its own privacy policy and processes data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
Customer records are kept for as long as you have an active licence, plus seven years after your last purchase to meet UK tax and accounting obligations. Marketing email subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. Support tickets are kept for two years. Server logs are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
If you're in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with data-protection laws, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data (subject to our legal retention obligations)
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in the UK, that's the ICO

Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for essential site functionality (e.g. remembering whether you've already seen the exit popup) and anonymised analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in any meaningful way, we'll email anyone affected and update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes won't be applied retroactively.
